Known for his modest and down-to-earth personality, he has dedicated over a decade to safety management at Hebei Leshou Duck Industry. Safety Knowledge Training

Behind the honor lies his dedication and commitment to safety work.

At work, he firmly believes that ensuring safe production requires adhering to the principle of "safety first, prevention-oriented, and comprehensive management," with a focus on proactively preventing accidents. This involves: 1) Relying on technological solutions—using science and innovation to maintain the safe operational status of equipment and facilities, thereby achieving inherently safer machinery and systems; 2) Leveraging robust safety management practices—relying heavily on supervisors to enforce rules and on employees to strictly follow procedures, effectively eliminating unsafe behaviors; 3) Strengthening safety culture initiatives—these efforts address the limitations of traditional safety management by focusing on preventive measures that tackle not only human behavior but also unsafe conditions of equipment and inherent management shortcomings. Among these three approaches, managing human behavior remains the most challenging aspect, often consuming the majority of time in day-to-day safety management tasks.

Safety management work knows no day or night—during my more than ten years in this field, I’ve never once turned off my phone at night. Whenever an emergency arises, I’m always the first on the scene to handle it promptly. Throughout this time, I’ve received tremendous support from my wife and other family members. There have been nights when I worked well past midnight, but by the time I finally returned home, the meal was still warm, thanks to my wife—who often reheated it several times to ensure it was ready for me.

Fire safety knowledge and training on the use of firefighting equipment

In his spare time, he often watches safety-related videos, reads news articles, and studies policies with his family—learning essential emergency preparedness skills such as fire safety, earthquake response, and how to prevent drowning. Whenever he enters a public space, he instinctively scans for safety exits and fire evacuation maps, ensuring he knows the best escape routes. When traveling by transportation, he pays close attention to where emergency hammers and firefighting equipment are stored, effortlessly developing strong safety habits.

Safety has only a starting point—it never truly ends. He has consistently embraced the approach of inspiring one person, who then influences an entire factory, and ultimately extends that ripple effect to every member of their family. In this way, he spreads safety principles and knowledge to everyone around him. Li Guangfeng’s unwavering passion for his work—nurtured over more than a decade through steady dedication, quiet perseverance, and selfless commitment—has earned him the prestigious "Safe and Civilized Family" award.

As residents of Leshou, while warmly congratulating him, let’s embrace and emulate his dedicated, passionate, and selfless spirit of devotion to work—let’s carry the Leshou ethos forward with pride and inspire others to do the same!
