In 2015, the group officially established the Breeding and Hatchery Base for Ducklings—Hebei Leshou Duck Industry Co., Ltd., a subsidiary specializing in duck breeding. The company was recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs as the "National Base for Propagation and Promotion of Superior Waterfowl Breeds," as well as being named a Leading Seed Industry Enterprise in Hebei Province. The company operates one grandparent stock duck farm and six parent stock duck farms, raising over 300,000 parent-generation ducks and producing more than 30 million commercial ducklings annually.

The company’s duck breeding business primarily focuses on the Z-type Peking Duck, followed by the Nan’kou No.1 Peking Duck and Cherry Valley Duck. The Z-type Peking Duck is a new, high-performance breed developed by the Beijing Institute of Animal Science & Veterinary Medicine under the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Its commercial generation is specifically used to produce carcasses for Peking-style roast duck. Key characteristics include rapid growth, excellent feed conversion efficiency, no need for force-feeding, high skin-fat content, and tender, delicate meat—making it the ideal choice for premium-quality Peking roast duck carcasses.
