Antibiotic-free approach increases costs Around 20 to 200 yuan

Meanwhile, corn prices have risen again. Over 200 yuan!

The corn market continues to rise steadily, consistently surprising us with its performance. Corn prices have risen since the beginning of the year. From 1,870 yuan/ton, it has risen to the current price of 2,138 yuan/ton, representing an increase of up to 268 yuan/ton.

Especially this year In June, the auction participation was incredibly intense, driving corn prices sharply higher due to robust trading volumes. This surge sparked speculation in the corn market, with traders betting on further price increases and holding back supplies. Recently, inland deep-processing companies have been offering purchase prices as high as 2,360 yuan per ton (1.18 yuan per jin), while at Northeast China ports, buying rates have climbed to 2,110–2,150 yuan per ton (1.075 yuan per jin). Even the lowest price in Northeast China—specifically in Jiamusi—has already reached 1,950 yuan per ton. Such a strong market dynamic hasn’t been seen in five or six years!

Subject to the temporary storage program The five auctions once again concluded with strong sales and significant premiums; meanwhile, the amount of corn entering the market from traders remains limited. Additionally, logistics and shipping costs have surged, leading industry insiders to remain cautiously optimistic about the near-term outlook. As a result, corn prices are expected to continue their upward momentum in the short term.

Due to the recent rise in prices of ingredients such as bran, flour, broken rice, and rice husks, corn prices have continued to soar—further compounded by Starting July 1, the non-antibiotic formula will be implemented, creating a dual-layered impact that drives up costs. Under this heavy pressure, companies like Tongwei and Maoming are striving to maintain quality while navigating these challenges. Feed prices have been raised across the board:
