On the afternoon of March 28, Hebei Leshou Duck Industry Co., Ltd. held its 2020 Annual Production and Operation Mobilization Conference.
On the afternoon of March 28, Hebei Leshou Duck Industry Co., Ltd. held its 2020 Annual Production and Operation Mobilization Conference. Attendees included Group Chairman Gao Xijun, Vice Chairman Li Bianyun, Supervisory Board Chairman Zhang Jianmin, Vice President and General Manager of the Duck Industry Company Qin Wen'an, General Manager of the Duck Carcass Division Zhang Lei, Deputy General Manager of the Meat Duck Division Rong Jinchang, along with key management personnel from various departments of the Duck Industry Company.
At the start of the meeting, everyone stood up to recite the Leshou Group Pledge and then sang the Leshou Anthem together—marking the official opening of the event.
Following this, Zhang Lei, General Manager of the Duck Products Division, provided a brief summary of the division’s 2019 performance and outlined the key priorities for production and operations in 2020. He emphasized:
1. We must firmly tackle all critical tasks in the post-pandemic era by vigorously strengthening marketing leadership, upgrading product quality, and driving cost reductions while boosting efficiency—ultimately elevating production and operations to a new level.
2. Fully implement flat management, strongly encourage a "striver's" mindset, redefine job roles and staffing levels, and introduce the incentive mechanism principle of "3-4-5."
3. Comprehensively promote refined management and performance evaluation, vigorously implement the bottom-ranking elimination system, and invigorate business operations.
4. Strengthen and refine the production and logistics infrastructure adjustments. Drive efficiency through management, and comprehensively implement benchmarking initiatives.
5. Leveraging the Group's full-industry-chain platform, we will vigorously advance various innovative initiatives—ranging from innovations in marketing models and market development to breakthroughs in product design, management, technology, and even fostering an innovative "internet mindset."
6. As well as anti-corruption efforts, five safety initiatives, and corporate culture development.
Next, Rong Jinchang, Deputy General Manager of the Meat Duck Business Unit, delivered a detailed report on the key priorities for meat duck farming in 2020. He also pointed out:
1. In the face of the sudden outbreak, we must closely follow the Group’s strategy, stabilize our farming team, strengthen internal capabilities, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency—guided by innovative thinking to lead our duck farming operations.
2. Strictly focus on improving the quality of down feathers, ensuring high-quality, compliant down with optimal yield rates. Implement full-process monitoring—from breeding and duck handling to transportation and pre-slaughter preparation.
3. Continuously strengthen efforts in biosafety and food safety, ensuring accountability is assigned to specific individuals.
4. Innovation and Supply Chain Enhancement: Focus on strengthening performance evaluations and refining management practices, optimizing job roles, and boosting employee motivation—all to improve overall work quality and control costs and expenses effectively.
Finally, Qin Wenan, Vice President of the Group and General Manager of the Duck Industry Company, delivered a closing speech. He analyzed the impact of the pandemic on the industry and its effects on the company, while also expressing full recognition and high praise to the employees who stood by the company during these challenging times. He emphasized the importance of continuously striving for excellence in product quality, maintaining rigorous quality control, aligning employee performance with product standards, and ensuring accountability at every level. Ultimately, he encouraged everyone at the Duck Industry Company to unite as one, stay committed to teamwork and innovation, focus their efforts in the same direction, and work together seamlessly to successfully accomplish all assigned tasks.
