A wise person once said: "Starting a business—actually, everyone has the potential to succeed. It’s just that some people are held back by outdated beliefs, missing the perfect opportunity to achieve success and ultimately failing to become the lucky ones." In a dream, Jack Ma told me: "You don’t need much money to start a business. In fact, if you have too much money, starting a business might lose its meaning altogether."

I’m a content editor from Leshou Agricultural & Pastoral Group. Recently, our company has been rolling out an exciting franchise promotion campaign for two of our flagship brands: "Leshou Yufang" Peking Duck and "Leshou Ya" Fresh Braised Products. After several robust rounds of marketing efforts, residents in Xian County are now thoroughly familiar with these brands—and they know full well that both are proudly carried forward by the time-honored "Leshou Duck Industry."

As a native of Xian County, I’ve had several people visit the company these days—introduced by my friends. Among them, I ran into one this morning. “Li Ge,” my buddy’s uncle, is only in his early forties—let’s just leave it at that.

Li Ge used to run a "Donkey Meat Shao Bing" shop near Pan American Clothing, but recently, due to the ongoing pandemic, he’s been forced to keep his business closed at home. Luckily, he has friends in Tianjin and Beijing who own similar donkey meat shao bing shops—businesses that earn over 300,000 yuan annually, making them more profitable than Li Ge himself. This has long sparked his desire to move to a bigger city and give it a try. Now, with the pandemic presenting an unexpected opportunity—what with rental rates for prime locations being particularly attractive right now—he’s even more determined than ever to take the leap. Still, he’s torn between sticking with his beloved "Donkey Meat Shao Bing" or joining forces with "Le Shou Yu Fang Roast Duck Restaurant," a well-established brand. After our conversation—and after chatting directly with Liu, the general manager of Yu Fang—it finally became clear: Li Ge’s decision has firmly tilted toward partnering with us. No need for grand philosophies here; the reasons are simple:

1. Opening a donkey meat bun shop requires both husband and wife to be hands-on around the clock, whereas opening a Leshou Yufang store only needs… "Just one and a half people" is enough. That means the shop owner does it personally, plus one apprentice to help out. Similarly Earning over 300,000 each year Isn't it better for your wife to stay home and take care of the kids?

2. This second point is crucial. Since Li wants to open a store in Beijing, the costs involved are extremely high—so high that he simply can’t come up with the 100,000 yuan needed to get started. But don’t worry—our Leshou Group has a solution for this!

Le Shou Agricultural and Pastoral Group has partnered with Xian County Rural Integrated Village and Town Bank. Anyone who joins Le Shou Yufang Roast Duck Restaurant will receive… You can borrow up to 150,000 yuan from us—with no interest for two years!!!

The following is supported by evidence from the on-site promotional meeting and promotional materials distributed by the bank:

Please note, this funding is exclusively for opening the "Le Shou Yu Fang" Peking Duck restaurant and "Le Shou Duck." Shop "No way are we serving donkey meat buns to you!"

That's all.
