Since the outbreak in surrounding counties and cities, on March 12, 2022, the Xian County Party Committee and County Government implemented strict closed-loop management across all residential communities (villages) and workplaces in the county to prevent the virus from spreading further. Meanwhile, the Xian County COVID-19 Prevention and Control Leading Group issued a notice mandating nucleic acid testing for everyone within the county. As of March 18, the first five rounds of county-wide nucleic acid tests had all returned negative results.

These teams have meticulously carried out the government’s防疫 guidelines, ensuring that all pandemic response measures are fully in place. While prioritizing the safety and health of employees, the company has also remained fully committed to maintaining robust production operations—guaranteeing a steady supply of feed and ensuring a consistent flow of duck meat products. Currently, all Leshou Agricultural and Pastoral Group facilities are operating smoothly and efficiently as usual.

At a critical moment in epidemic prevention and control, Gao Xijun, Chairman of Leshou Agricultural & Pastoral Group, took the lead. The impact of the pandemic has posed significant challenges to feed production. The company has encountered difficulties in procuring essential raw materials, delivering duckling feed, and recovering live ducks, as well as issues with distributing duck carcasses and food products. In response, the company promptly communicated with suppliers, farmers, and customers, arranged vehicle permits, and, with strong support and assistance from leaders at all levels across provincial, municipal, and county departments, its management worked closely with each checkpoint to ensure that eligible transport vehicles were granted access—thus safeguarding production continuity.

To ensure the timely supply of feed to contracted farms and both new and existing cooperative养殖户 in the surrounding areas, Li Hehe, General Manager of the Feed Business Division, rallied the entire leadership team and staff from Leshou Duck Industry Feed Branch, Letong Feed, and Tongda Feed plants to spring into action. Managers, sales personnel, and frontline production workers are working together wholeheartedly to keep production running smoothly.

As colleagues bustle about and the hum of workshop machinery fills the air, bags of high-quality feed roll off the production line, ready to be loaded onto trucks—and delivered directly to farmers' hands. During the pandemic response period, feed production and sales have surged daily, growing exponentially. While ensuring a steady supply of feed for our cooperative farmers, the company is also providing premium-quality feed to livestock and poultry producers across our county and neighboring regions. By addressing the urgent needs of farmers nationwide, we’re helping to stabilize livelihoods and contributing meaningfully to the overall well-being of communities.

Hebei Leshou Duck Industry Co., Ltd. has actively implemented the group’s epidemic prevention and control plan. Employees have given up their holidays, staying steadfast at their posts and on the production frontlines to ensure a stable supply of products such as Beijing-style roast duck blanks and portioned duck meat. In their dedication to keeping the "vegetable basket" well-stocked, they’ve put the greater good ahead of personal convenience, quietly holding their ground at work while selflessly contributing their efforts. Through their actions—marked by hard work and unwavering commitment—they vividly embody the sense of responsibility and commitment that defines the Leshou spirit.

During the epidemic prevention and control period, to ensure a timely supply of ducklings to households and the prompt collection of live ducks back to the factory, Qin Wen'an, Group President, and Zhang Lei, General Manager of Leshou Duck Industry’s Slaughtering Division, led their management team, employees, and core members in staying and working around the clock at the production facility. They were ready to address any challenges arising in operations and production at all times. The factory implemented closed-loop management, with managers and staff living on-site to maintain continuous production and supply. To safeguard employee health, the company conducts daily comprehensive disinfection of the entire厂区, and all onsite personnel undergo mandatory nucleic acid testing at government-established monitoring points set up at each facility. Employees are required to wear masks while on duty, and their temperatures are rigorously monitored and recorded. Meanwhile, both production and office areas are kept well-ventilated to ensure safe and efficient operations.

While diligently managing epidemic prevention and control within the company, all departments are working closely together to ensure the normal production and supply of duck meat. Despite road disruptions and numerous challenges, we remain steadfastly on the front lines, safeguarding people's livelihoods and ensuring smooth deliveries.

On March 13, Zhang Lei, General Manager of Leshou Duck Industry’s Slaughtering Division, along with Zhang Xiaodong, Group Administrative Director, and their team, visited four epidemic-testing stations to deliver Leshou Duck gift boxes filled with braised and cooked delicacies to the police officers and medical staff on duty for pandemic prevention and control.

On March 16, Group President Zhong Jinghong visited five pandemic testing checkpoints to deliver essential supplies—worth over 20,000 yuan—including instant noodles, ham sausages, bread, and Le Shou duck gift boxes—to frontline police officers and auxiliary police officers on duty. She extended warm greetings and heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated officers, auxiliary staff, and medical personnel who have steadfastly upheld their posts amid the biting cold winds in the fight against the epidemic!
