Le Shou Group – Zhang Zhansheng, the Meat Production Center

Time flies—before we know it, I’ve already spent nearly five months working at Leshou. From being a fresh graduate to now confidently mastering various professional skills, I’ve seamlessly transitioned from student life into the workforce. Here at the company, I’ve found my place within this big, supportive family and am steadily realizing my personal and professional potential. I’m deeply grateful to Leshou—and especially thankful to the Free-Ranging Department—for guiding me on this meaningful journey.
In my view, Leshou is not just a national-level leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization—though it certainly holds that distinction—but also a truly conscientious company dedicated to helping local farmers escape poverty and achieve prosperity, demonstrating a strong sense of social responsibility. When I first joined the company, my understanding of its operations was limited; I had only a basic grasp of the company’s expectations for employees and its overall direction for growth. However, through my time here, I’ve come to realize that the company has comprehensive expectations for its staff—ranging from work ethic and professional skills to personal qualities. Leshou deeply values Confucian culture, and its core corporate philosophy embodies the "two-doing" spirit: "Be honest in character and diligent in action." The company firmly adheres to a development approach rooted in pragmatism and independence, continuously advancing through technological innovation and R&D. Moreover, it actively implements the guiding principle of "the Group serves the company, superiors serve their subordinates, logistics supports frontline teams, all employees serve customers, and the enterprise contributes to society," directly or indirectly creating employment opportunities for over 10,000 people in the local area. This profound sense of social responsibility has left a deep and lasting impression on me.
Currently, I work in the Free-Range Department of the Nanhetou Branch of the Meat Production Center, where I’m responsible for disease prevention and control among farmers’ meat ducks, as well as conducting laboratory tests. I still vividly remember the mix of excitement and nervousness I felt during my first time as a technician—heading out to diagnose diseases in farmers’ ducks. The excitement stemmed from the fact that, after persistent effort, I’d finally become a proud employee of Leshou and earned myself a role to kickstart my journey of professional growth. But at the same time, I was filled with uncertainty about what lay ahead. The distant future seemed somewhat daunting, leaving me wondering if my skills would truly resonate with the farmers. Fortunately, my team leaders and experienced colleagues in the department took the time to patiently share their invaluable insights with me and showed genuine care and support along the way. Their guidance has been nothing short of inspiring, and I’m deeply grateful for their kindness. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
Working in the free-range department is unlike any other role—this unique work environment and its nature of responsibility are bound to teach me countless valuable lessons. Looking ahead, I’m confident that years from now, I’ll be grateful for these early days. I’ve already adjusted my mindset, and moving forward, I’m fully committed to working hard, giving my best effort, and fulfilling my duties with dedication and integrity. For me, this role in the free-range department represents a fresh, exciting new chapter—one that’s vastly different from anything I’ve experienced before. I particularly enjoy being a technician here, especially when I help farmers tackle their ducks’ health challenges. Seeing their relief and joy after we resolve their concerns is the greatest reward for my efforts. At the same time, the lab’s diagnostic work allows me to stay on top of the latest disease trends, enabling more effective prevention and control strategies that truly make a difference. This position comes with significant challenges, but it also gives me the perfect opportunity to put my past knowledge into practice while honing my skills in areas like planning and problem-solving. It’s precisely because I genuinely love this work that I can immerse myself fully and approach each day with passion and purpose. I know that only proactive action will lead to meaningful results. That’s why I’m diligently tackling every task assigned to me by my team leaders. Beyond that, I’m determined to maintain my unwavering enthusiasm for learning—constantly expanding my knowledge and refining my expertise to keep pace with the company’s growth. Of course, there may be moments when I feel uncertain or overwhelmed, but I firmly believe that as long as I stay focused, remain positive, and trust in my abilities, I’ll not only overcome these challenges but ultimately achieve success.

Society is evolving, information is growing—and so are the challenges. I’m determined not only to leverage my own strengths but also to enhance my personal qualities by learning from others’ experiences. After all, youth is distilled into a precious elixir, crafted from the drops of willpower and the sweat of relentless effort. So I’ll stay grounded, roll up my sleeves, and wholeheartedly commit myself to doing what needs to be done. Together with my peers, I’m confident we’ll keep pushing forward, giving our best to repay the company—and striving tirelessly for an even brighter tomorrow!

Dear members of the new Leshou family; from now on, you’ll be walking side by side with the Leshou big family, growing together and working hand in hand. Let’s ignite our passion and harness our wisdom to build a bright future for our company—and let’s use our youth and dreams to craft a promising tomorrow of our own. Leshou Agricultural & Pastoral Group warmly welcomes you!
