Recently, our county is facing a severe flood control and disaster relief situation due to the intense impact of Typhoon "Doksuri." The Party branch of Leshou Agricultural and Pastoral Group has actively fulfilled its social responsibilities, leveraging its own resource advantages to take proactive measures and lead all party members and employees in fully dedicating themselves to frontline flood prevention and rescue efforts—earning unanimous praise from people across the affected region.
Sing the Song of Corporate Integrity 。 After receiving the information about the Fan District activation at 11:00 a.m. on August 1, the Party branch of Leshou Agricultural and Pastoral Group convened an emergency meeting early on July 31, unanimously deciding to notify and assist the 48 contract duck farmers from 25 villages across three townships in the Fan District to relocate their meat ducks—while also providing temporary housing for the farmers. At 6:00 a.m. on July 31, with support from Communist Party members and government officials at both the county and township levels, Chairman Gao Xijun led more than 20 party-member employees to form a rapid-response relocation team. Equipped with dozens of transport vehicles, the team braved the rain and headed straight to the farmers' homes in the Fan District. Due to continuous rainy weather and muddy roads that prevented vehicles from accessing certain areas, the team had to reach some farms on foot. Despite these challenges, the dedicated team successfully completed the safe relocation of 280,000 meat ducks in just 14 hours.
Sing the song of heartfelt compassion and generosity 。 After our county’s flood diversion area was activated, 72,000 residents from Zhangcun Township, Linhe Township, and Xiaopingwang Township—located within the flood storage and detention zones—were safely relocated or took immediate protective measures in place. As the leading enterprise in our county, Leshou Agricultural & Pastoral Group promptly responded to the government’s call. On August 7, led by the company’s Party branch, nearly 2,000 employees from all business units and corporate centers spontaneously organized a donation drive benefiting the people living in the 48 villages of our county’s flood diversion area. This fundraising effort not only highlighted the company’s longstanding tradition of helping those in need but also underscored Leshou Agricultural & Pastoral Group’s core corporate values: "Love for our country, hometown, family, and company." Early on August 8, Chairman Gao Xijun personally led more than 20 company employees, along with donations totaling approximately 676,000 yuan worth of cash and supplies, to deliver the aid to the three townships in Xian County’s flood-prone region—accompanied by Chen Yi, President of the Xian County Red Cross Society.
Singing the Song of Social Responsibility 。 Affected by the recent flooding, 225 poultry and livestock farmers in the Pan District—ranging from egg and meat chicken producers to pork farmers—experienced varying degrees of challenges, including flooded barns and water-soaked feed supplies, which have disrupted the normal growth of their animals. Upon learning about the situation, the company’s Party branch immediately mobilized its subsidiary, Hebei Letong Feed Co., Ltd. After carefully assessing feed inventory and estimating the required quantities, the company donated approximately 55.8 tons of feed to the affected farmers in the Pan District on the morning of August 8, providing much-needed relief.
In mid-August, representatives from local duck farms, egg chicken farms, and pig farms in the Pan District visited the headquarters of Leshou Agricultural & Pastoral Group to present specially crafted banners. These banners symbolize the deep gratitude and appreciation that farmers from Xian County’s Pan District have for Leshou Agricultural & Pastoral Group—and they also serve as a heartfelt acknowledgment of the company’s proactive commitment to social responsibility.
