Cangzhou Feed Industry Association Successfully Held Its 2021 Annual Work Conference

To fully leverage the association's role as a bridge and link, actively promote the sustainable development of the feed industry, advance safety initiatives and strengthen the development of relevant laws and regulations within the sector, and accelerate the industry's transformation and upgrading, the Cangzhou Feed Industry Association successfully held its 2021 Annual Work Conference on the morning of October 23 at the Cangxing Building in Cangzhou. Over 120 representatives attended the meeting, including leaders from member units of the city’s feed industry association, heads of feed enterprises, and key business personnel. Notably, Li Jinghui, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Animal Husbandry Association and President of the China Animal Husbandry Association’s White Feather Broiler Chicken Alliance, delivered a special keynote speech. Also present were Wang Jiusheng and Ma Dianjun, Deputy Directors of the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, along with Li Yue, Director of the Feed Office under the same bureau. Additionally, directors from feed offices across various counties and cities participated in the conference.

This meeting was chaired by Li Yue, Director of the Feed Office at the Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau. Wang Jiusheng, Deputy Director of the same bureau, emphasized to our city’s feed enterprises the critical importance of ensuring safe production practices. He urged companies not only to actively promote safety awareness but also to intensify internal training and highlight exemplary cases within their own organizations. Additionally, he encouraged participants to think creatively, foster greater collaboration, and embrace continuous learning. The industry, he noted, should play a proactive role in helping member companies expand their horizons—by encouraging them to collaborate with larger, more established enterprises, thereby creating valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange and skill development. Ultimately, these efforts will help elevate management standards, strengthen individual capabilities, and drive the sustainable growth and prosperity of Cangzhou’s feed industry.

Deputy Director of the Municipal Agriculture Bureau, Ma Dianjun

Ma Dianjun, Deputy Director of the Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, emphasized that enterprises should adopt systems thinking throughout their development process, prioritize quality enhancement, and ensure reliable supply. He also urged companies to strengthen brand-building efforts, refine their corporate culture, and identify strategic entry points for effective market promotion—ultimately driving sustained market growth and success.

Gao Xijun, President of the Municipal Feed Industry Association and Chairman of Leshou Group

President Gao Xijun delivered a report summarizing the association's work from the first half of 2020-2021 and outlining the plans for the second half of 2021. He also highlighted how the association worked together to combat the pandemic, ensured stable supply chains, maintained production, and provided essential services. On behalf of the association, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs for their strong support of feed enterprises!

Special guest speaker Li Jinghui, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Animal Husbandry Association and President of the China Animal Husbandry Association White Feather Broiler Alliance, will join us online to share insights into the current state of China's animal husbandry industry, provide market analysis and forecasts, and offer valuable recommendations for the feed sector.

Wang Wenjie, Production Manager of Hebei Kunpeng Group, conducted a training session on safe production practices for the feed industry.

Finally, Li Yue, Director of the Feed Office at the Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, emphasized that participating companies must strengthen industry self-discipline, enhance the quality and safety standards of feed production, and ensure compliance in their manufacturing processes. She also highlighted the critical importance of prioritizing workplace safety management, urging all member units to treat safety as their top priority. In closing, Director Li encouraged company leaders to focus on their own growth while simultaneously taking on the vital responsibility of driving the healthy development of the entire industry.

Through this meeting, member organizations gained insight into the development trends of the livestock industry and the key requirements set forth by the government’s agricultural authorities regarding the feed sector. It also helped strengthen members of the Cangzhou Feed Association in their commitment to ensuring safe and secure feed production management. Achieved excellent results— the meeting was a complete success!
