Looking back, there were moments of both regret and warmth. The regret stems from losing my father in September 2019—feeling as though I’d lost the entire world. Yet, the warmth came from truly becoming part of the Leshou Free-Range Department family in 2020. In this little home away from home, they’ve given me confidence, courage, love, and encouragement, reminding me that I’m never alone again. One joke stands out vividly: “When you get married, we’ll send you off in five Wuling Hongguang vans”—a comment that was genuinely heartwarming. They’ve perfectly embodied Leshou’s corporate culture: "Be honest in life, and踏实 (down-to-earth) in your work." As a Leshou employee, I’m proud; as a member of the Free-Range Department, I’m even prouder. Let’s learn to be grateful—to those who offer help when we’re struggling, even if it’s just asking, “Do you need any assistance?” And let’s also embrace contentment, reminding ourselves that being happy is enough. After all, life isn’t about holding onto everything tightly—it’s about letting go of what doesn’t truly matter and choosing not to dwell on things that don’t bring joy. Above all, live life with positivity and optimism, cherishing the people around you who genuinely care for you. When you do, the world will naturally open its arms to welcome you.

In 2020, for myself, it was a transitional year—challenging yet slipping by far too quickly. It feels like just yesterday we were still caught up in the New Year’s resolutions of "Fighting the Wuhan Epidemic" and cheering on Wuhan to hold strong. Yet now, before we know it, this new year has already brought news of "New Cases in Hebei" and heartfelt encouragement for Shijiazhuang. This year was both tense and heartwarming—warm in moments of connection, yet tinged with regret when faced with loss. In truth, there are no heroes descending from the heavens; instead, it’s ordinary people who rise to the occasion, stepping forward with courage and selflessness. These unsung heroes put the needs of others before their own, even sacrificing their own comfort—and sometimes their very lives—in the coldest of winters, all to guide us toward the warmth of spring. Through it all, I’ve come to realize that peace and tranquility aren’t handed to us freely; they’re earned through the sacrifices of those who carry the weight of hardship on our behalf. And though winter may feel endless, we know without a doubt that spring will always return. So here we are again—2021, arriving as promised. May this year bring forth blooming flowers, a world at peace, and hearts filled with love and hope. Let’s ensure that COVID-19 stays firmly rooted in 2021, leaving behind only memories of resilience and renewal. Wishing everyone a peaceful, joyful, and safe 2021!
