I’m Yang Ruilian, from Zhuanyao Village. I’ve been collaborating with Leshou Duck Farm to raise ducks since 2016. At first, I had plenty of worries and concerns—mainly about the lack of funds and my limited expertise in farming techniques. After all, investing such a large sum of money naturally came with a lot of anxiety. Back then, I didn’t have much capital to build sheds, so I had to scrape together resources from various sources to establish a duck farm capable of housing 20,000 ducks.
Confused and anxious, I kicked off my first batch of ducklings into the farming process. From day one, a dedicated technical specialist provided meticulous guidance—everything from temperature control and ventilation to feeding, water management, and even vaccination protocols. Thanks to the expert care and advice, my very first batch of ducks was safely brought to market. It finally felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. After that successful first batch, the biggest takeaway was clear: as long as I followed the technicians' instructions closely, the risks in duck farming remained firmly under control. Over the course of the year, not a single major disease outbreak occurred. In fact, I managed 6 to 7 batches throughout the year, with each duck generating an average profit of about 3 yuan annually. All told, my net profit exceeded 400,000 yuan for the year—a truly impressive return, especially considering the realities of rural farming.
As my farming experience grew, I realized that the current shed conditions are increasingly unable to meet the demands of modern livestock management. First, summers are scorching hot, and without any cooling systems in place, it severely hampers the growth of our meat ducks. Second, manually cleaning out manure takes an incredibly long time, delaying the timing of duckling introductions—and the physical labor involved is incredibly demanding. That’s why there’s an urgent need for modernized sheds equipped with fan-and-water-cooling systems and automated manure scrapers. 2020 presented a perfect opportunity: I made up my mind to build state-of-the-art sheds, expanding our operation while upgrading our farming infrastructure. But the biggest challenge remained—financing. Modernizing the existing sheds and expanding the facility would require substantial capital. Amidst anxiety and uncertainty, though, Leshou Duck Farm finally brought a glimmer of hope.
Leshou Duck Farm helped me secure a bank loan, using my livestock deposit as collateral—and the monthly interest I’m paying is surprisingly low. I initially thought the process would be complicated, but thanks to the streamlined paperwork (including my ID, farming contract, and personal credit report), I managed to complete it effortlessly. Best of all, the funds were already in my account by the next day! Now, my state-of-the-art 40,000-duck farm has officially started production. With my own hard work and Leshou Duck Farm’s attentive support, I’m confident that my future will only get brighter and better.
Aquaculture Deposit Payment Policy: Pay a one-time initial deposit of 8 yuan per animal, using the bank receipt confirming your 8-yuan deposit as collateral. The farmer will then sign a loan agreement with the bank at an annual interest rate of 4%. Our company will assist the farmer in handling the loan application process, enabling the farmer to use the loan proceeds to increase the deposit to 16 yuan per animal.
