Le Shou Agricultural and Pastoral Group – Zhou Meng, Finance Department

Having wrapped up my campus life, bid farewell to teachers and classmates, and stepped out of the ivory tower, I’ve officially entered society and taken on the job I’ve long dreamed of. Life is filled with countless milestones—each one marking the end of a chapter, yet also signaling the start of a brand-new journey.
On August 3, 2020, I joined the big family of Leshou with an overwhelming sense of excitement. In the blink of an eye, more than two months have already passed. During this time, both in my work and studies, I’ve encountered countless people and experiences. While celebrating my personal growth, I’m also keenly aware that I still have many areas for improvement. Thanks to the guidance and mentorship from leaders at all levels, as well as the care and support from my colleagues, I’ve made steady progress in my thinking, work, and learning. As a newcomer, right now, all I can do is dedicate myself fully to my job, pouring my energy into even the most ordinary tasks. This way, I can keep nurturing my youth and passion, gaining valuable experience along the way.
Throughout this journey, I’ve deeply realized my own gaps in business knowledge and fundamental skills as I’ve been learning. At the same time, I’ve come to appreciate the meticulousness and hard work that financial professionals bring to their roles. Moving forward, I’ll approach my tasks with even greater care and attention, quickly mastering the company’s various operations—asking questions whenever I’m unsure—and striving to minimize mistakes, aiming for perfection. I’m determined not to let down the expectations my leaders have placed in me!
As a young professional, I have a long career ahead of me, with countless opportunities to learn and grow. I will constantly challenge myself to: nurture my strengths, address my weaknesses, fully realize my personal value, and contribute my part to the bright future of our company!

Le Shou Agricultural and Pastoral Group – Feng Sijia, Finance Department

Losing a bit of childlike innocence, I’ve gained the ambition and dreams of an adult. On July 6, 2020, still brimming with youthful enthusiasm, I stepped through the gates of Leshou Agricultural & Pastoral Group, full of hope and anticipation. From being a student to an intern—and now, a dedicated professional striving in my career—life feels like a train, with each station along the way marking the start of a new journey. Joining Leshou marks the beginning of my next exciting chapter, and I’m confident that this new path will lead me farther and farther ahead.
As a newcomer, I’ve already found myself comfortably settled at Leshou for over three months—before I even realized it! I consider myself lucky to have joined Leshou’s warm, close-knit family, where I’ve experienced the team’s harmonious work environment and met colleagues who are both kind and welcoming.
On my first day in the Finance Department, everything felt brand new—new colleagues, a fresh environment, and even new financial software to master. As a newcomer, I inevitably encountered challenges along the way, but my colleagues were incredibly patient in guiding me, while my leaders showed remarkable care and support. Thanks to their encouragement, I’ve gained so much confidence and motivation. Over the past three months at Leshou, I’ve not only grown to love my job but also discovered a deep sense of belonging. I’m truly grateful for Leshou—a wonderful "family" that has become an integral part of my journey.
To excel in any job, responsibility is especially crucial. When you take ownership of a task, you naturally feel motivated to see it through—and to do it exceptionally well. As the chairman often emphasizes: "Be honest in your character and diligent in your work." This simple yet profound principle serves as an invisible yet powerful force, constantly pushing me to grow and improve myself. Over the past three months, I’ve come to deeply appreciate the importance of being thoughtful, meticulous, and patient in my role as a finance professional. Approach every task with care, stay grounded in your values, and cultivate patience—especially when dealing with challenges that might tempt you to act impulsively, as younger professionals sometimes do. Instead, learn to remain calm, think critically, and tackle issues with measured deliberation. As the saying goes, "Details determine success or failure." That’s why it’s essential to develop a thorough, well-planned approach to your work. Pay close attention to even the smallest tasks around you, and make it a habit to regularly reflect on your actions, words, and thoughts. By calmly assessing what’s working—and what isn’t—you’ll gain clarity on how to refine your efforts and stay focused on the right path forward.
During this time, I felt the intellectual liberation within the Leshou Group, gaining insight into the company’s bold approach to pioneering innovation, its courage to push beyond limits, its positive, forward-thinking attitude, and its relentless drive to excel. I also came to deeply understand the "Two-Doing Spirit" at the heart of the company’s culture—embodying the principles of "being honest and upright in character, and meticulous and diligent in action." Witnessing the harmonious, ambitious, and ever-advancing spirit of Leshou’s employees has inspired in me even greater aspirations and a deep sense of admiration for the company.
I’m incredibly fortunate to be part of Leshou. Moving forward, I’ll always maintain a positive and optimistic attitude—both at work and in life—helping me excel in my role and enrich my daily experiences. As the saying goes, "On the mountain of books, diligence is the path; in the sea of learning, perseverance is the boat." Learning is an endless journey, and I’m committed to staying proactive, continuously improving myself, reflecting on my progress three times a day, and constantly refining who I am. After all, Leshou’s growth is directly tied to each of our individual development. Together, I hope we can collaborate wholeheartedly to achieve our shared vision and build a brighter, more promising future for Leshou.

Le Shou Agricultural and Pastoral Group – Statistician Wang Jingyu

As the old saying goes, "Without rules, there can be no order." Discipline is precisely that—rules applied to structure and regulate systems, ensuring procedures are carried out smoothly and efficiently. As a statistician, you must unhesitatingly follow your leader’s instructions, refusing to shy away from challenging tasks or second-guess decisions. To many, statistical work might seem like nothing more than simple arithmetic—adding and subtracting numbers—lacking creativity and passion, a mundane and repetitive job. But in reality, statistics is a knowledge-intensive field that demands a qualified professional to master not only statistical techniques but also accounting principles, business management skills, mathematical statistics, and even proficiency in computer applications.
Establish and improve robust systems for primary records and statistical ledgers, ensuring that all data originates from reliable sources and enhancing the quality of statistical information. Primary records—captured through forms, cards, documents, and other structured formats—provide a direct and accurate reflection of reality. Just as the source fuels the flow, statistical reports depend entirely on the integrity of these foundational records; only when the source remains pure can the flow remain clear and uninterrupted.
How can one become an excellent statistician? Personally, I think efforts should be focused on the following areas:
First, strengthen your study of statistical practices and related knowledge—aim to truly understand, master, and apply these concepts effectively. Expand your knowledge base and enhance your capabilities in five key areas:
First is adaptability. Survival of the fittest is a fundamental principle of biological evolution—and the same holds true for humans. As statisticians, we must continually adapt to changing environments and evolving circumstances, constantly updating our knowledge, sharpening our minds, and confidently mastering new statistical tools and techniques.
Second is professional competence. Statistics is a science with a comprehensive system and profoundly rich, intricate content. To excel in statistical work, one must not only master the fundamental statistical theories but also become proficient in various statistical techniques—only then can you truly become an expert in the field.
Third is writing ability. The job of the statistics department involves handling statistical information. To effectively analyze, develop, and communicate this information, strong writing skills are essential.
Fourth is analytical ability. Statistical work is like "threading a needle"—it requires precision and accuracy. The raw materials for statistics are vast amounts of data. It’s through your ability to organize and analyze this data that you can uncover underlying patterns, identify hidden issues, and ultimately grasp the true nature of the problems at hand.
Fifth is research capability—understanding and mastering specific situations. True knowledge comes from practice, so as statisticians, we must conduct thorough investigations, gather firsthand data on how things are evolving, identify issues, analyze them, and ultimately propose effective solutions and strategies to support leadership decision-making.
Secondly, we must foster a strong team spirit. This means working together harmoniously, collaborating closely, and pulling in the same direction—both mentally and physically—to ensure that all tasks within our department are completed smoothly and efficiently.
Once again, let's embrace a pragmatic spirit—approach issues and carry out our work with a practical, fact-based mindset. Avoid setting unrealistic or overly ambitious goals; instead, stay focused, keep our feet firmly on the ground, and tackle every challenge head-on, addressing real-world problems steadily and systematically, one step at a time.
Finally, we must embrace a spirit of innovation—after all, innovation is the enduring source of strength for any nation. As statisticians, we need to continuously rethink our approaches and methods, adapting dynamically to new trends and evolving demands. This means shifting from a "wait-and-see" approach to one that proactively takes action. We should move beyond mere data aggregation and reporting, instead focusing on comprehensive analysis and forward-looking forecasting. By fully leveraging the unique role of statistics, we can strive to ensure that our data is not only accurate but also actionable and insightful.
