[Employee Reflection] Gratitude for Leshou Helps Me Grow…

Speaking of gratitude, I believe everyone is familiar with it—only by nurturing a grateful heart can we learn to cherish and care for our parents, respect our elders, and genuinely show concern and support for others. Gratitude isn’t just the most fundamental moral principle for everyone; it’s also the bare minimum of personal修养 (self-cultivation), and it’s simply part of human nature.

Moving forward with gratitude

Time flies, and the years have passed quietly—yet in the extraordinary month of April 2020, I stepped through the gates of Hebei Leshou Duck Industry Co., Ltd.’s slaughter plant, joining the company as an office assistant in Leshou Duck Industry’s duck-processing division. At first, being new at Leshou felt a bit unfamiliar and overwhelming, but above all, I felt deeply grateful.

Speaking of gratitude, I believe everyone is familiar with it—only by cultivating a grateful heart can we learn to cherish and care for our parents, respect our elders, and genuinely show concern and support for others. Gratitude is not just the most fundamental moral principle for everyone; it’s also the bare minimum of personal修养 (self-cultivation), and it’s simply human nature.

For me, expressing gratitude today feels like a true honor—to have been so fortunate to become part of the big, welcoming family that is Leshou.

Looking back suddenly, I realize how incredibly fortunate I’ve been since starting my career. At first, the shift in roles left me feeling a bit out of place, but thanks to the warm support and patient guidance from my leaders and colleagues—who took the time to explain every little detail—I’ve gradually improved and quickly started feeling like an integral part of this close-knit team. Though I haven’t been with the company for very long, I’ve already deeply sensed the genuine warmth that the organization extends to its employees. Here, our leaders and colleagues aren’t just bosses or coworkers—they’re more like family: brothers, sisters, friends—people who truly deserve my gratitude and appreciation.

The administrative assistant's job is meticulous and time-consuming: verifying initial data, compiling it into reports, and promptly submitting these reports to relevant leaders; checking, entering, summarizing, and forwarding attendance and performance records for each shift; as well as managing software tasks like data entry, report generation, printing, archiving, and final submission—all of which demand careful attention to detail. Though these responsibilities can be summarized in just a few sentences, putting them into practice is far from simple. Yet, when we approach our work with gratitude, we naturally feel less inclined to complain and more motivated to stay grounded. This mindset encourages us to fulfill our duties diligently, taking initiative and going the extra mile. Gratitude also fosters a deep sense of belonging—making us treat the company not just as an employer, but as our own "home," nurturing it with care and devotion. After all, I firmly believe that life offers equal opportunities to everyone—but only those who are prepared and relentlessly strive forward will truly seize them.

As the saying goes: "Positive people are like the sun—wherever they shine, light follows. Negative people, on the other hand, are like the moon—they’re different on the first and fifteenth days of the lunar cycle." In my future work, I will strive to embody this mindset. "Our corporate culture is all about 'being honest and upright in character, and diligent and steady in everything we do'; let's embrace a proactive work attitude as we strive together toward Le Shou's bright future!"

A First Look Back at Five Years of Work

Here are my reflections on work experience as follows:

I joined the company to work in sales, and I’m grateful to our leaders and colleagues for their training and guidance, which helped me go from being unfamiliar with the products to becoming thoroughly familiar with them.

I. The core tasks of sales involve analyzing the market, identifying target markets, understanding customer needs, and aligning product offerings and pricing strategies accordingly. I often feel that sales is just like matchmaking—you’re essentially “marketing” yourself to the other party, showcasing your qualities to help them accept and embrace you.

2. Professionalism and quality are fundamental. In today’s fiercely competitive market—where duck carcass producers have sprung up across the country—customers are increasingly demanding higher product quality, placing new pressures on manufacturers to innovate and stay ahead. Relying solely on brand recognition for survival is only a temporary solution; after all, it’s the quality of your products that truly ensures a company’s long-term success and sustainability.

3. The market requires not just expansion, but even greater maintenance. After all, dealers are the ultimate goal of business development—without strong distribution channels and top-notch distributors, even the best products will struggle to sell. Only by leveraging each other’s strengths and meeting mutual needs—when dealers thrive financially and companies secure robust market access—can both sides achieve a win-win partnership.

Here are a few thoughts of my own:

1. To effectively manage and organize your time, you must value every moment, prioritize efficiency, and approach learning with a well-planned, focused strategy.

2, When doing things, you must have a goal—and set a deadline for achieving it.

Finally, I’d like to thank the company leadership for their guidance and mentorship, which have helped me elevate my skills to the next level. The road ahead is long and challenging, but as sales professionals, we’ll never let the weight on our shoulders ease—we’ll keep pushing forward with determination, staying true to the trust and support you’ve placed in us. And together, Leshou will once again achieve greatness.
