On July 25, 2020, Leshou Agricultural and Pastoral Group organized an on-site observation team and listened to work reports from each business division, as well as presentations on the implementation of the "Four Modernizations and Four Systems" initiative for refined management.

To drive the group’s rapid progress and achieve its development goals, Leshou Group has launched a three-month intensive initiative focused on refining management practices across the organization. This effort aims to strengthen the implementation of the "Four Modernizations and Four Systems"—namely, standardization, informatization, digitalization, and automation—alongside the corresponding technical, quality, production, and marketing systems. On July 25, the group organized an on-site observation session, during which leaders listened to detailed work reports from each business division. As a result, Leshou Group has already achieved notable progress in enhancing its refined management approach.

Attending this refined management meeting were Group Chairman Gao Xijun, Group Vice Chairman Li Bianyun, Group President Zhong Jinghong, Group Vice Presidents Qin Wen'an and Wang Dongyan, as well as Feed Business Unit General Manager Li Hehe and Slaughter Business Unit General Manager Zhang Lei. All business unit general managers participated in the on-site observation and learning session, followed by individual progress reports. Meanwhile, the Group Administration Department presented updates on the "Four Modernizations" initiative, while the Corporate Management Department shared insights into the "Four Systems" progress. As the group actively pushes forward these initiatives, it is also taking stock of each stage’s achievements, fostering mutual learning from effective management practices, and exchanging experiences to drive continuous improvement across the organization.

Group leaders shared their insights and offered suggestions on how to carry out this event. Finally, the Group Chairman summarized the "Four Modernizations and Four Systems" initiative and provided several key recommendations:

1. We commend the phased achievements of this initiative, but we must remain vigilant and approach it with full seriousness. Cultivate a strong sense of awareness and elevate our commitment to driving greater efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing our company’s core competitiveness. Additionally, identify gaps and areas for improvement—both within the group’s own companies and against benchmarking firms in the same industry—and develop targeted, actionable corrective measures. Each business unit should maintain a relentless focus on refining and optimizing management practices.

2. A renewed and enhanced understanding of the "Four Modernizations and Four Systems"—particularly standardization efforts, which should be preserved as an intangible asset. These standards must be revised annually and submitted to the Administration Department for archiving.

3. The entire group should accelerate the advancement of "automation" initiatives. A follow-up summary report is planned for mid-September, showcasing results with concrete figures—complete with month-over-month, year-over-year, and benchmarking data against industry-leading companies.

 

Through the implementation of this event, internal communication and learning within the group have been strengthened, fostering a culture of " Compete, Learn, Catch Up, Help, and Surpass The work atmosphere has strongly propelled the group’s development. The Group Chairman praised the effectiveness of this refined management initiative and commended the achievements made by each business division. At the same time, he set even higher expectations for all divisions, encouraging them to continue advancing this initiative—because refinement means going "all the way."
