Xian County's "Integrated Standardization Demonstration Zone for Three-Product Meat Duck Production" has been officially listed by the National Standardization Administration as a national standardization demonstration project.

The demonstration zone project will take three years to establish a standardized示范区 of integrated duck farming—combining primary, secondary, and tertiary industries—with distinct poultry industry characteristics, highly concentrated resources, deep sector integration, advanced facilities and equipment, sustainable production practices, strong regional influence, and remarkable brand benefits. This initiative holds significant potential for advancing industry-convergence development, boosting farmers' incomes, and fostering broader economic growth.

The demonstration zone project was proposed by the Hebei Provincial Administration for Market Regulation, with Hebei Leshou Duck Industry Co., Ltd. and multiple departments in Xian County—including market supervision, agriculture and rural affairs, science, industry, commerce, and development and reform—jointly responsible for its implementation.

The demonstration zone project focuses on the supply-side structural reform of agriculture, emphasizing government guidance, the integration of primary, secondary, and tertiary industries, sustainable green practices, and the development of a high-quality, efficient specialty duck industry. It is dedicated to building large-scale, standardized breeding facilities and establishing a model demonstration zone for standardized duck farming that integrates "production, processing, and technology."
