Recently, as the floods triggered by Typhoon Doksuri approached Xian County's flood zone, leaders and technical staff from Leshou Agricultural & Pastoral Group and Leshou Duck Industry Company carefully prioritized the safety of property for farmers in 48 villages across Xian County. To safeguard their assets, the company developed a meticulous and comprehensive evacuation plan—and promptly put it into action. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the company’s leadership and team, the vast majority of the 350,000 meat ducks in the flood zone were successfully relocated to farms outside the affected area, ensuring the protection of Leshou’s contracted duck farmers’ valuable assets.
To ensure the smooth execution of the relocation effort, company leaders worked tirelessly, barely taking any breaks. It wasn’t until shortly after 3:00 a.m. on the 31st that they finally managed to rest for about two hours. But as the first rays of sunlight broke through the morning sky, the leaders immediately rallied their teams and headed out to Zhangcun Township, Linhe Township, and Xiaopingwang Township—visiting 25 farmers across 48 villages to deliver on-site mobilization efforts. Due to vehicles being unable to access certain areas, some farmers’ sheds had to be reached on foot, showcasing the company leaders’ heartfelt concern for each and every farmer involved.
By shortly after 10 p.m. on the 31st, 80% of the duck farmers had successfully relocated their meat ducks to farms outside the flooded area. During the relocation process, the company actively coordinated with accepting farms, duck-hauling vehicles, and personnel responsible for catching the ducks, ensuring the operation ran smoothly. These concerted efforts paid off—resulting in a remarkable success, as every single duck was safely cared for throughout the entire process.
The successful relocation of the Panqu meat ducks not only highlights the company's outstanding operational capabilities but also underscores the LeShou team's strong commitment to safeguarding farmers' property. Moreover, this achievement would not have been possible without the active cooperation and unwavering support from our dedicated farmers, who have provided the initiative with both momentum and confidence.
