A delegation from the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology visited Leshou Duck Industry to inspect the company's resumption of production and operations.

On May 19, a delegation led by Wang Jianfen, Deputy Director of the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology; Wang Binglin, Director of the Cangzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology; and Li Shicheng, Director of the Cangzhou Radio Administration, visited Hebei Leshou Duck Industry Co., Ltd. Accompanied by Qi Kewang, Vice County Magistrate of Xian County, the team conducted a调研 (research and inspection) focusing on "epidemic prevention and control, resumption of work and production, and industrial cluster developments." Zhong Jinghong, President of Leshou Agricultural & Pastoral Group, and Zhang Lei, head of Leshou Duck Industry, joined the visit to provide insights during the调研.

After the delegation from the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology arrived on site, LeShou Duck Industry’s epidemic prevention staff promptly measured and recorded the body temperature of each individual. Subsequently, accompanied by Zhong Jinghong, President of the Group, the researchers carefully listened to and focused on understanding the company’s production and operational status following its resumption of work and production, as well as how LeShou Duck Industry has bravely shouldered its social responsibility by fighting the pandemic and ensuring supply continuity.

As a national-level leading enterprise, Leshou Duck Industry has established a comprehensive, vertically integrated industrial chain spanning duck hatchery, breeding, slaughtering, processing, and sales. The company has forged close partnerships with over 270 farming households through agreed-upon buyback contracts, enabling it to annually deliver more than 10 million meat ducks to the market and generating over 30 million yuan in additional income for local farmers. However, the sudden outbreak of COVID-19 during the Spring Festival period sent shockwaves across the country, severely disrupting operations and forcing many businesses to halt production. This crisis dealt a devastating blow to the poultry processing industry, leading to critical shortages in feed supplies and leaving farmers unable to process their ducks—a situation that inflicted significant financial losses on the company. To safeguard the vital interests of farmers and breeders, the company has proactively taken decisive measures to minimize disruptions across all operational fronts, ensuring that its impact is kept to a minimum. At the same time, Leshou Duck Industry remains steadfast in fulfilling its social responsibilities, demonstrating unwavering commitment to supporting the communities it serves.

At the time, the 1.1 million contract ducks held in stock had their slaughter schedule delayed by 15 days, resulting in some losses. The company assured farmers that all remaining contract ducks would be fully repurchased and processed—ensuring every single bird was accounted for and properly slaughtered. Throughout the pandemic, Leshou Duck Industry made sure not a single duck went unfed or unsold, doing its utmost to protect farmers' interests.
