As 2020 marked the final year of China's battle against poverty, we were confronted with the sudden outbreak of COVID-19. Despite these challenging circumstances, the Party Central Committee and the State Council remained steadfast in their commitment to winning this "battle."
Meanwhile, livestreaming e-commerce has emerged as our new powerful weapon.
On the afternoon of May 25, 2020, Hebei Leshou Food Co., Ltd. departed for the Cangzhou 1688 E-commerce Service Center to participate in the 1688 “TaoBoHui” online livestream event with its “Leshou Duck” brand products.
The Taobao Expo, themed around boosting consumption to support agriculture and poverty alleviation, saw livestreamers enthusiastically promoting products while engaging directly with viewers in each on-site broadcast room—resulting in incredibly strong sales. This year's expo was jointly organized by the CPC Committee of Cangzhou City’s Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Cangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and Alibaba. Leveraging Alibaba’s three major platforms—Taobao, 1688, and DingTalk—the event featured popular online influencers leading product launches, helping to increase the sales volume of agricultural goods produced by Cangzhou’s poverty-alleviation enterprises. This initiative not only boosts the local market for these products but also fosters regional branding, ultimately creating a sustainable industrial support system that drives long-term economic growth in impoverished areas.
Let's better support the fight against poverty.
Hebei Leshou Food Co., Ltd. primarily focuses on food processing and sales, with its flagship product being the "Leshou Duck." The "Leshou Duck" brand was named the "No. 1" flavored duck product at the 9th National Duck and Goose Industry Conference, and it also earned the prestigious "Gold Award" at the 15th China International Agricultural Products Trade Fair. After several years of operation, "Leshou Duck" has emerged as the leading regional brand in northern China, renowned for its distinctive and highly sought-after leisure-style braised duck flavor—and one with tremendous growth potential. The company’s business model revolves around a combination of directly operated chain stores and franchised outlets, complemented by parallel distribution channels that include both traditional retail networks and supermarket partnerships. Currently, Leshou Duck’s expansion is concentrated mainly in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
The key advantage of Leshou Duck products: "Leshou Duck" leisure-style braised duck snacks are crafted leveraging the comprehensive, industry-wide operational strengths of Leshou Agricultural and Pastoral Group. Developed specifically to suit the taste preferences of Northern China, these products make full use of leftover duck by-products from processed duck carcasses—while also incorporating select raw materials sourced externally—and are produced using a unique, proprietary recipe developed in-house.
