On the afternoon of July 30, 2022, a training conference aimed at studying the essence of Mao Zedong Thought and enhancing the theoretical knowledge and management skills of Leshou's extensive cadre team was grandly held in the large conference room on the fifth floor of Leshou Agricultural & Pastoral Group. The event featured an invited lecture by Vice President Yan Zhihai from the CPC Municipal Party School of Cangzhou, who delivered a speech titled "Seeking Truth from Facts, Practicing Diligently to Strengthen Enterprises, and Striving to Enhance Cadres' Competencies in Entrepreneurship and Work." Over 100 participants attended the training, including mid-level and higher-level managers, key business personnel, and promising reserve cadres.

At the start of the meeting, all attendees jointly took a solemn oath and sang "The Song of Leshou" together.

Following this, Gao Xijun, Chairman of Leshou Agricultural and Pastoral Group, delivered a brief speech. Chairman Gao welcomed President Yan for gracing the group with his presence to deliver the lecture, and he encouraged management leaders at all levels to diligently study and deeply understand the essence of Mao Zedong Thought, striving wholeheartedly to enhance their theoretical knowledge, professional competence, and managerial skills.

At the start of the course, Principal Yan first emphasized that "seeking truth from facts, the mass line, and independence and self-reliance are the living soul of Mao Zedong Thought." He then delved deeply into the essence of Mao Zedong Thought, focusing particularly on the principle of "seeking truth from facts." In particular, he traced the evolution and formation of this idea through key moments in the history of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese revolutionary movement, highlighting its central role in our Party's guiding ideology—and underscoring its vital significance in steering our efforts toward economic development and the advancement of socialism with Chinese characteristics.

Principal Yan believes that the principle of seeking truth from facts should be carefully studied and deeply understood from several key perspectives: maintaining an open mind to recognize what is right, calmly observing reality to discern truth, striving to eliminate biases and return to objective truth, rejecting falsehoods while embracing authenticity, and keeping one’s eyes firmly fixed on practical realities. This approach calls for opposing dogmatism, always grounding decisions in actual conditions, respecting others, treating everyone equally, avoiding the pitfalls of both dogmatism and blind empiricism, and placing great emphasis on pursuing truth and practicality—particularly by integrating theory with real-world application and prioritizing thorough investigation and research.

Principal Yan pointed out that to effectively learn and apply the essence of Mao Zedong Thought—to unlock its productive power and drive enterprise development—we must closely integrate it with the actual work of the company. Based on this, he outlined the following eight key requirements:

1. Uphold firm beliefs and unwavering loyalty—heed the Party's guidance, cherish its kindness, and follow its path.

2. Uphold the spirit of reform and innovation for our times, deeply study market dynamics, continuously drive creativity, and prioritize quality above all else—this is how we sustain our company’s vitality and dynamism.

3. Persist in building a highly effective entrepreneurial team, strengthening unity and enhancing the organization and development of our workforce.

4. Uphold a humble and open-minded work style—remaining modest, cautious, and free from arrogance or impatience. Consistently follow the mass line, respecting the pioneering spirit of enterprise employees.

5. Persist in vigorously building a learning-oriented enterprise—stay attuned to market trends, think long-term, and actively expand into new markets. Focus on mastering theoretical knowledge, cultural insights, technological advancements, management skills, as well as leadership methods and artistry.

6. Uphold strict organizational discipline, adhere to rules and regulations, and emphasize self-awareness.

7. Persistently invest significant effort in nurturing the younger generation, providing an endless source of momentum for the company's sustainable growth.

8. Persist in diligently studying the materialist dialectic to continuously enhance management skills and leadership capabilities.

His explanation skillfully connected theory with practice, making complex ideas accessible and engaging. The employees in the audience listened attentively, deeply absorbed the insights, and walked away with valuable takeaways.

The two-hour training session came to a close, leaving participants thoroughly engaged and eager for more—so much so that they wished it could have gone on longer.

Finally, Chairman Gao Xijun delivered a concluding speech. He emphasized that Mao Zedong Thought and Confucian culture form the ideological foundation of Leshou Group’s corporate culture. Concepts such as seeking truth from facts, combining theory with practice, maintaining close ties with the masses, and applying dialectical materialism and materialist dialectics have proven to be invaluable intellectual tools and methodologies. These principles have played a pivotal role throughout the Communist Party of China’s century-long journey, serving as the guiding light that has enabled both revolutionary achievements and remarkable progress in China’s economic development. The core cultural philosophy of Leshou—“Be honest in character and diligent in action”—is deeply rooted in this rich cultural heritage, steadily guiding the Leshou Group through more than two decades of challenges and triumphs.

He called on all Leshou cadres and employees to seize this training conference as an opportunity to actively engage in studying Mao Zedong Thought and theory, deeply grasping its essence, and applying what they learn to practical situations. He urged everyone to strive to enhance the ideological and theoretical understanding as well as the practical capabilities of leaders at all levels, seamlessly integrating Mao Zedong Thought with real-world enterprise management practices—thereby driving a comprehensive upgrade in Leshou Group’s management standards.
