Recently, the People's Government of Cangzhou City issued a document announcing the winners of the 2019 Cangzhou City Government Quality Award, and Hebei Leshou Duck Industry Co., Ltd. was honored with this prestigious recognition.
The "Cangzhou Municipal Government Quality Award" is the highest quality honor awarded by the municipal government, specifically recognizing organizations or individuals registered within the administrative area of Cangzhou City whose quality management systems are robust and effectively operational. These entities must demonstrate quality management practices, methodologies, and models that reflect unique industry characteristics and organizational strengths, while achieving outstanding results in areas such as quality standards, technological expertise, innovation capabilities, brand influence, and overall economic performance—ultimately placing them at or above the leading or advanced levels among domestic enterprises.
In recent years, with strong support and guidance from governments and departments at all levels, the company has steadfastly pursued a path of quality-driven growth. As a result, the quality of its business operations has steadily improved, enhancing the company's core competitiveness and solidifying its position as a leading benchmark enterprise in the domestic Peking duck carcass production industry.
First, ensure meticulous management and strictly control product quality.
By closely focusing on batch-by-batch inspection of raw materials, implementing the "Five Unifications" model in the farming stage, optimizing energy efficiency and reducing consumption during production, upgrading equipment to enhance labor productivity, and strengthening research and technological innovation, we are establishing a comprehensive production standards system to deliver high-quality products.
Second, emphasize standardization and brand building.
Continuing to strengthen the technical foundation of standardization, in 2018 the company successfully developed one enterprise standard titled "Processing and Production Procedures for Roasted Duck Blanks," and submitted applications for three municipal-level local standards, including specialized feed for roasted duck and farming technology guidelines. In 2020, the company took the lead in formulating China's first professional standard specifically for roasted duck blanks—the group standard "Beijing Roasted Duck Blanks." At the same time, the company intensified efforts in brand development, protection, and promotion, collaborating with a renowned domestic branding agency to fully launch two major brand-building projects: "Le Shou Duck" and "Le Shou Yufang." These initiatives aim to establish new revenue streams by creating thriving ready-to-eat food stores and online roasted duck delivery outlets.
Third, effectively manage intangible assets such as trademarks and patents.
The company currently holds dozens of trademarks, including "Le Shou," "Le Tong," and "Le Shou Duck," and owns multiple patents, all of which play a crucial role in driving the company’s comprehensive development and enhancing its competitive edge.
Fourth, we place great emphasis on science, technology innovation, and research & development.
The company has established a breeding and slaughtering R&D center, as well as a feed R&D center—both recognized by the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology—and a science and technology expert enterprise workstation accredited by the provincial government. In 2020, it also founded China's first provincial-level innovation center dedicated to roasted duck semi-finished products.
